From the Bride: One word that best describes our wedding is magical. The rain, the laughter, the sunset, the music, the people, and most importantly the love- I couldn’t imagine our wedding being any other way. Looking back at the photos, my heart is fluttering. It feels as if we are there, in the midst of it all over again.

Sierra and Jordan’s wedding had to be one of my absolute favorites from last year!! Sierra planned this wedding all the way from Australia and I seriously couldn’t be anymore proud and stunned at how she was able to do it. Sierra and Jordan met while traveling abroad in Croatia. They fell in love almost immediately and Sierra, just a girl from Texas moved to Australia to pursue this relationship with her Australian man. Meeting these two was an so incredible they honestly remind me a lot of myself and my boyfriend’s relationship and I think that’s why I fell in love with their love story. I’m so glad Sierra went with my florist recommendation because she truly is the best in the biz. I mean look at those flowers. Valerie Wolf with Davy Gray yall. Check her out! I am also super in love with the way she used the space at Pecan Springs Ranch. It’s the perfect venue to add your own special esthetic.
I photographed Ashley & Matt's beautiful destination wedding in Cabo one year ago, I can't believe how fast time flies. From not knowing each other to being able to call these two my friends is truly why I love my job so much. For their one year anniversary me and my trusty second shooter/boyfriend Jc flew to Florida to celebrate my birthday and their first year of marriage. Thank you a hundred times for the opportunity to capture your love as it grows. Ash, you have the sweetest heart thanks for trusting me one year ago and bringing me along on your beautiful journey!! I love you guys!!
My favorite couple of 2016. I seriously loved everything about this wedding, from the handmade dress by the bride to the orange accents in the loveliest places! I mean look at that ombre dress!! Amory finished it off the day of the wedding, which added a special intimacy that I just could not explain! I loved that she and her family and friends did all of her family and friends did all of her florals days before the wedding!! So simple, yet so incredibly bold! Rockin Y Ranch served as the beautiful venue, with its eccentric accents hidden through out the property. For a small and light filled wedding this venue is the bomb!! Please brides consider outside receptions! They are so great filled with natural light! Shot on a Pentax645n + Fuji400h
Finally sharing my first wedding of 2016! I loved starting my wedding season off with this genuinely kind, and loving couple. Madeline and Matt decided to keep it simple, with pops of purple and blue. Succulents were perfectly added in. I am so glad she chose those beautiful bridesmaid dresses!! Aren't they perfect? Hummingbird house has to be one of my favorite venues. So much beauty surrounding the entire venue, and holy crap that light?! Thank you so much Madeline, and Matt for allowing me to capture such a special day!!
So happy to share my last wedding of 2015 at the lovely Barr Mansion wedding venue in Austin Texas. You guys this venue is a dream, and I'm so honored that my cousin, the bride trusted my vision and let me photograph her insanely beautiful day!!! Cheers to family believing in your dreams!!! I love this beautiful traditionally modern take on this wedding. Its simple and focuses on the couple and their love for each other! I'd say, that is the most important part of a wedding day, wouldn't you?
I'm so happy to share this beautiful wedding at the Kendall Plantation wedding venue! Kendall Plantation is a wonderful wedding venue for timeless brides. Its located in Boerne, Texas just a half an hour from San Antonio. I had the privilege of shooting along side one of my favorite Texas photographers, Matthew Alvarado of Hey Beloved I absolutely love working with him. He is an amazing friend, and photographer!!

Umm can I just say how thankful I am to be in this industry. In this life. I am so incredibly happy. I have awesome friends all over this country. One of them is this awesome family here! Tyler is a wedding photographer in Ohio, and a damn good one at that! tylerrippel.com, If you are in the Dover area you have to hire him! We both attended a wedding workshop last November so when he needed a second shooter for his wedding in Ohio, I found a great flight outta Dallas & off to Ohio I went. Getting to meet his awesome boys, and beautiful wife was the best. I love getting to travel for a living. While I was there, I was able to try out Tyler's Pentax 67ii in these images of their family! I love them!
So happy to share these amazing bridals at Prospect House in Austin Texas. This venue is seriously a dream! Thanks to Alexa for being the most gorgeous client and bride!

I could not love these two more!! I am so honored that they hired me to capture this special day! Natures Point on Lake Travis is one of my absolute FAVORITE venues. Its the perfect backdrop for a gorgeous classic & elegant wedding! Samantha is seriously the sweetest bride I have ever worked with! She made the entire day so breezy! Even with a chance of rain the whole day, she knew what really mattered was seeing her new husband waiting at the end of the aisle for her. Luckily the rain held back for us, and we were able to have the ceremony outside. Everything turned out beautiful!!
This wedding day started off very easy, and relaxed, and thankfully ended that way. Iulia & Larry got married in a beautiful church up in North Austin & had their reception at a beautiful place in the hill country called The Plant at Kyle. This wedding is very close to my heart. I love this venue, and these people so very much. I honestly felt as if I was a guest at this wedding with a camera capturing the love these two share with there family & friends. Creative beautiful venues like The Plant at Kyle make me heart so very happy. This venue will always be a favorite of mine because of the unique architecture. I hope you can feel the love of this couple thru these few photographs.

I dreamt this shoot up, and I am so glad I was able to bring it to life. It was important that the shoot have a consistent, organic ambiance. Built around the beautiful vintage dress, the light look was accessorized with pearls as pops of the slight chicness to match the dapper European fit suit. Rather than a flashy diamond, a flower ring was constructed to match the flowers placed in the model’s braid, integrating the model and the wildlife further together. This river styled shoot is nature at it’s best as the runaway wedding emits a timeless feel of a 1910-early 1920s organic, free love.
I put this shoot together with serenity in mind. I love the idea of having a simple, calm, & peaceful wedding, something you can think back on and think that was so easy. It doesn’t take much to make a scene beautiful, just a gorgeous location some vintage clothing, and the one you love by your side. I knew I wanted this shoot to be as organic & nature filled as possible. The canoe was in my head from the beginning. I also knew I wanted something on land with water close by and this location was spot on perfect. The thought process of this shoot was to keep everything super simple, but bring organic elements to play as well.
